Road Closure Advisory from NDP.GOV.SG

We would like to take this opportunity to remind our Grab partners that traffic delays are expected along Raffles Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Bayfront Avenue, Raffles Boulevard, Republic Boulevard, Collyer Quay and Nicoll Highway, and we highly encourage you to plan your journeys in advance to avoid getting caught in traffic jams.

Similarly, motorists proceeding to Suntec City and Marina Square from Raffles Avenue, Raffles Boulevard, and Bayfront Avenue are advised to use alternate routes via Nicoll Highway or Rochor Road leading to Temasek Boulevard.

Please note that parking restrictions along the affected roads will be strictly enforced, and vehicles found to be parked illegally or causing an obstruction will be towed.

Separately, we are proud to inform you that Grab will be participating in this year’s National Day Parade’s Marching Contingent.

In the spirit of this year’s National Day theme “Stronger Together, Majulah!”, we would like to extend this opportunity to thank all our Grab partners for their continued support!

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
