New GrabVIP programme recognises top users with exclusive privileges

We’ve rolled out a new programme to recognise top users who rely on Grab in their everyday lives.

Known as GrabVIP, this programme was created to show appreciation for this group of users and their continued support and trust in Grab’s services.

We’re progressively rolling out the programme to users in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. Singapore users have access to the Beta version, with Vietnam following in April. We plan to fully roll it out in the coming weeks.

GrabVIP exclusive privileges

GrabVIP users will get to enjoy exclusive privileges across Grab’s ecosystem, starting with these initial offerings:

Priority delivery

GrabVIP users can enjoy a set of free upgrades from standard delivery to priority delivery (known as direct delivery in Malaysia) per month to get their food sooner.

Enhanced customer support

They will also get priority support whenever they need assistance. If they encounter any issues or questions, their requests will be handled faster.

As we continue to expand the programme, GrabVIP users can look forward to more perks, such as privileges for mobility services.

How to qualify for GrabVIP

The GrabVIP status is awarded to users every quarter based on their total spending on Grab services in the previous quarter. Users who meet the minimum spending requirement across Food, Mart, Express, and/or Transport services will be upgraded to VIP status the following quarter and unlock exclusive privileges. They can retain the status by continuing to meet the same spending requirement each quarter.

Users can track their progress towards GrabVIP via the tracker found on their profile page. Those who qualify for GrabVIP will also be notified via email or in-app notification.

Elevating everyday experiences

GrabVIP is one of our many initiatives to provide users with a more rewarding experience on our platform. In 2023, we introduced GrabUnlimited, a membership designed to unlock savings across the Grab ecosystem for our consumers. One of its key benefits is savings on delivery fees, which has proven to be a significant cost-saver for frequent Grab users. In countries such as Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia, GrabUnlimited members also get to enjoy discounts on rides.

We’re grateful to all our users who choose Grab every day. While we continue to improve our app and services to ensure that each transaction offers the best in reliability, choice, and user experience, we also wanted to do a little more to recognise our top users through the GrabVIP programme.
