• As a GrabHitch driver, you are automatically enrolled into the GrabHitch Driver loyalty programme named Hitch Club (“Hitch Club”) operated by the Company and/or its Affiliates.
• Driver-Partners with the following service types (JustGrab, GrabCar, Grabtaxi and GrabFood/Mart/Express) are excluded from Hitch Club as they are entitled to Emerald Circle, a loyalty program tailored for commercial drivers.
• There is no membership fee required. However, only active members are entitled to Hitch Club benefits.
• To be an active member, you will need to complete at least 1 ride every month to unlock the Emerald tier and start enjoying benefits.
• As an active Hitch Club member, you will gain access to GrabBenefits and Partner benefits – promotions, discounts, free gifts and other benefits offered by the Company and/or third party merchants from time to time.

• Hitch Club offers four tiers for active members, as follows:
  • Emerald
  • Ruby
  • Sapphire
  • Diamond
• The completed rides required to achieve each tier within each month, as set out below:

• Your rides are calculated and captured in the driver app within 24 hours. At 8AM daily, your total rides will be made accessible on the driver app, reflecting your previous day’s completed rides.
• The Company reserves the right to communicate this to you via alternative channels.
• Your tier and points will be refreshed monthly which means:
  • a) Your points each month will determine your tier the next month.
  • b) At the start of a new month, your earnings will be reset to 0.
• You will only be upgraded or downgraded to the next tier on the 2nd day of the following month, based on your current month’s total rides.

• Hitch Club offers two categories of benefits:
  • • GrabBenefits – benefits offered by Grab
    • Partner Benefits – benefits offered by our partners

• GrabBenefits

          A. Reduced Commission Fee

• • Eligible for drivers in Sapphire and Diamond tier only, determined at 8% and 5% respectively.
  • Effective from the day you qualify for Sapphire/Diamond as indicated in the app, i.e. all completed rides with pickup time after the 1st of each month 08:00:00 will be charged at the new rate.
  • Deduction will be rounded down to the nearest ten-cent, e.g. 5% on $11 fare ride will be charged at $0.50 (rounded down from $0.55)
  • Reflected in your driver wallet after your ride is completed as per standard procedure.

          B. Birthday Voucher

• • Eligible for drivers in Ruby, Sapphire and Diamond tier only.
  • The $10 GrabFood voucher is credited to eligible drivers’ account on the first week of their birthday month.
  • The GrabFood voucher will be valid during driver’s birthday month, is non-transferrable and valid for one time use only.
  • The voucher code is redeemable via the Driver App > GrabBenefits tab.

  • Benefits differ across tiers and is subjected to change from time to time, as indicated on the driver app and website.
