1. What is #GrabRewardsville?
#GrabRewardsville is a virtual tree planting game created by Sqkii Pte Ltd in conjunction with Grabcar Pte Ltd and Grabtaxi Pte Ltd. Plant, evolve, and redeem virtual Trees all around Singapore to earn GrabRewards points that will be credited into your Grab account!

2. How do I begin playing #GrabRewardsville?
Sign in to your Grab account at grabrewardsville.sqkii.com to start playing #GrabRewardsville! You will learn how to plant, evolve, and redeem Trees through a simple tutorial led by the Grab Friends. After the tutorial, you will be given free seeds to begin your own planting journey, and you can earn more seeds through completing Missions or taking a qualifying Grab ride!

3. Who can play #GrabRewardsville?
The game is open to participants of all ages, though if you are under the age of 18, do remember to seek consent from your parent or guardian before playing! You will also require a Grab account in order to play #GrabRewardsville.

4. Why do I need to have a Grab account to play #GrabRewardsville?
The GrabRewards points that you earn from planting and redeeming Trees will be credited directly to your Grab account. As such, you will need to have a Grab account in order to participate in the game! If you don’t have an account yet, you can always sign up for one by downloading the Grab app at https://www.grab.com/sg/download/.

About Trees and Soil

1. What are Trees?
Trees are the virtual plants that you can grow in #GrabRewardsville! Each Tree goes through four stages and can evolve into different types at each stage.

2. What are the four stages of a Tree?
Each Tree begins as a seed that you can receive either as a gift from the Grab Friends, through completing Missions, or through taking qualifying Grab rides. After you plant a seed, it then goes through the following stages in order: Sprout, Seedling, Sapling, and Tree.

3. What are the different types at each stage?
At each stage, the Tree can evolve into a Frail, Healthy, Excellent, or Diamond type. The type at an earlier stage does not necessarily determine the type at a later stage; for instance, a Frail Sprout may eventually grow into an Excellent Tree.

Remember to evolve your Tree after it is fully grown at each stage — if left unattended for too long, different stages of a Tree will become Withered and will no longer be redeemable for points.

4. How does the Soil affect the type of Tree at each stage?
Every seed planted has a chance to grow into the various types of Trees. However, the better the Soil quality, the more likely it is that the seed will grow into a better Tree with more points:

• Infertile Soil: Seeds planted in this Soil are less likely to give you Healthy Trees. This Soil is commonly found in residential areas and lacks the sufficient nutrients for your Trees to thrive.
• Fertile Soil: Seeds planted in this Soil are likely to give you Healthy Trees. This Soil is abundant around shopping malls, supermarkets, hawker centres, and community clubs.
• Rich Soil: Seeds planted in this Soil are likely to give you Healthy or Excellent Trees. This Soil is commonly detected at tourist attractions and larger parks in Singapore.
• Deluxe Soil: Seeds planted in this Soil are most likely to give you Excellent or Diamond Trees. This Soil can be found using the Deluxe Soil Clue.

5. Why did my Sprout/Seedling/Sapling/Tree become Withered?
Just like actual plants, your plants in #GrabRewardsville require constant care and attention too!

Every Sprout, Seedling, and Sapling has to be evolved within 12 hours once they are fully grown, i.e. once the “Evolve” button appears. Similarly, every Tree has to be redeemed within 12 hours once they have been evolved from a Sapling.
If left alone for more than 12 hours after it is ready to be evolved or redeemed, the Sprout, Seedling, Sapling, or Tree will become Withered and can no longer be evolved to the next stage or redeemed for points.

Redemption of GrabRewards Points

1. How many points can I get from each stage and type of Tree?
Sprouts cannot be redeemed for points, as they are the first stage of a Tree’s growth. Seedlings of all types can be redeemed for 10 points each, while Saplings of all types can be redeemed for 30 points each.

At the last stage, Trees can be redeemed for varying amounts of GrabRewards points based on their types:

• Frail Trees cannot be redeemed for points.
• Healthy Trees can be redeemed for 100 to 500 points each, depending on the individual Tree.
• Excellent Trees can be redeemed for 1,000 to 2,000 points each, depending on the individual Tree.
• Diamond Trees can be redeemed for 3,000 to 100,000 points each, depending on the individual Tree.

2. How and when will I be receiving my redeemed GrabRewards points?
The GrabRewards points you redeem should be automatically credited to the Grab account you used to log in to the game. If you do not receive the points in your account, just head over to https://help.grab.com/passenger/en-sg/ for further assistance!

Seed Codes and Missions

1. I’ve run out of seeds! How can I get more of them?
If you’ve run out of seeds, you can obtain more seeds by completing Missions in #GrabRewardsville or by taking a qualifying Grab ride! Each completed Mission awards a varying amount of seeds, while each qualifying Grab ride will give you a seed code to redeem 2 seeds.

2. What are Missions?
Missions are mini activities for you to complete within #GrabRewardsville. Each completed Mission awards its own amount of seeds — after you have completed the task indicated, simply tap on the “Redeem” button in the Missions page to get your seeds!

3. What is a qualifying Grab ride?
A qualifying Grab ride refers to a Grab ride transaction that (a) is made between 28th December 2020, 12:00am (midnight) and 31st January 2021, 11:59pm and (b) is not a GrabHitch and GrabResponse transaction and (c) is transacted via GrabPay or GrabPay credits payment methods.

4. How do I redeem the seeds from my Grab rides?
After you complete a Grab ride, simply go to “My Rewards” in your Grab app and tap on “2 #GrabRewardsville Seeds”, copy the reward code, and paste it into the seeds page in your #GrabRewardsville screen. You can access the seeds page by tapping on the bottom right button on the main map.

5. My seed code is invalid. What should I do?
Do check whether you have already redeemed the seed code previously, as each code can only be used once. Remember to also check if you have entered the code correctly as it is case-sensitive! (Tip: Just copy and paste the code!)
