For which services can I book a ride with an extra stop?
You can book rides with an extra stop for GrabCar.
How many extra stops can I add to my booking?
You can only add one additional stop to your booking. You’ll be shown the upfront fare on your GrabCar rides.
How is the fare calculated?
The upfront fare of your GrabCar ride already includes the cost of your extra stop. It’s based on the total distance travelled.
Can promo codes / discounts be applied to rides with extra stops?
Yes. Any existing promo codes and discounts may be applied.
Will the fare remain the same if I switch the order of the stops?
No. Since the upfront fare of GrabCar rides is calculated based on the total distance travelled, the fare will increase or decrease accordingly when the order of the stops is switched.
How long can the driver wait at the first stop?
Your driver will wait a maximum of only 3 minutes.
If you expect a longer waiting time at the first stop, call your driver at the beginning of the trip to confirm whether the extended waiting time is okay. Otherwise, please cancel your booking, and book two separate rides.
Can I ask the driver to travel to the second stop and then to the first stop?
For GrabCar rides, no. The fare is calculated based on the original order of the stops. If you need to change the order of your stops, please cancel the booking and make a new one.
I need an extra stop but forgot to include it into my GrabCar booking. Can I request for the driver to make an additional stop?
No. A separate Grab booking is required.
