Last June 8 to 10, we held a 3-day workshop for the top GrabTaxi drivers from Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Davao in partnership with AirAsia and 24H Hotel.
To further our mission of improving the livelihoods of Grab drivers, we tapped Red Cross to provide first aid training, Honda Safety Driving Center for a Safety Driving Seminar and John Robert Powers for customer service and hospitality training.
For emergencies that may happen anytime during rides, thanks to our friends from the Red Cross, our Grab drivers are ready to perform first aid response for passengers experiencing dizziness, heart attacks, burns, choking, wounds and other conditions that often require first aid.
Safety has always been at the forefront of Grab’s mission. With Honda Safety Driving Center, Grab drivers were taught of defensive driving techniques, road safety and precautions, and traffic laws and violations.
John Robert Powers, meanwhile, helped our drivers be more confident about themselves while being able to effectively engage and respond to their passenger’s needs.
Throughout the year, we will be holding pocket events in all the cities we’re available in to upskill drivers and insure that the Grab experience is hassle-free.
So rest easy Grabbers, your drivers are ready to outserve. 🙂
