For Admins of the Grab for Family accounts (Admin Terms):

To create and use a Grab for Family account (hereinafter referred to as “Family Account”), you as the account holder hereby agree and acknowledge binding to the following terms and conditions set out hereof, that:

1. You accept and assume sole responsibility for activity, transactions and usage conducted by you and any linked members on your Family Account.

2. Subject to Clause 10 of this Admin Terms: 

a. You acknowledge that services accessible by Family Account’ members are limited to transport rides;

b. You agree to make payment for all rides, goods and/or services made by or consumed by  any and all member(s) of your Family Account. Where applicable, payments will be made from any designated payment source(s) that are made available to Family Account by Grab (“Shared Payment”); and

c. all members of your Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.

3. By adding members, you represent and warrant to Grab that – 

a. Each member is from 18 years old or older; or

b. The member is between the ages of 13 and 17 (“Teen Member”), and that you have the full legal authority to act on behalf of the Teen Member.

4. In respect of all members, you acknowledge and agree that: 

a. when a member requests for a transport ride, you acknowledge and agree to book that transport ride on behalf of the member, which includes making the payment for the Services through your account utilizing the designated Shared Payment method; 

b. you, on behalf of the members, agree that Grab is entitled to contact and directly communicate with the member regarding any reported service issues and/or incidents in relation to the member’s use of the Family Account by any means, including but not limited to (i) the Grab app; (ii) a phone conversation; (iii) e-mail and/or any other suitable means; 

c. you grants full general consent and authority for the member to make decisions and transactions related to any financial products and/or payment methods within the Grab app; and

d. you maintain sole responsibility for terminating the member’s access to the Family Account by removing the member’s account from your Family Account.

5. In respect of Teen Members, you represent, warrant and conclusively agree that: 

a. Grab bears no obligation to seek or obtain supplementary consent, approval, or affirmation from any other parent, legal guardian or any other third party. All of your actions as the Admin of Family Account shall constitute sole and sufficient consent for the Teen Member’s enrollment and usage following this Terms and Grab’s Policies ;

b. you have reviewed the Grab for Family Member Terms (the “Member Terms”) with the Teen Member, and is hereby bound to such terms and conditions on behalf of the Teen Member. 

6. For the purpose of the usage of and adding members to the Family Account, you represent and warrant that you have received consent or authority to share members’ personal information with Grab.

7. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice applies to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you or any member of your Family Account may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual accounts. 

8. In the event you and your members use the services in another jurisdiction, you acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of the Terms of Service, this Terms, and Privacy Notice will also be considered as an acceptance to the terms and conditions and the privacy notice that are relevant in that specific jurisdiction where the Services are provided to you and your members.

9. You understand and accept that, the removal of Teen Member from the Family Account will result in the immediate and complete deactivation of their entire Grab account, including the forfeiture of all associated features ( the loyalty points, transaction history).  

10. Members of your Family Account may also use other services (e.g. GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress), provided that:

a. These transactions cannot be settled via the Shared Payment source as set up in the Family Account; 

b. such transactions are not visible to other members of the Family Account (including the admin); 

c. Teen Members are strictly prohibited from purchasing goods or services which are restricted by applicable local regulations.

For Members of the Grab for Family account (Members Terms)

1. You as a member of the Family Account assume full and sole responsibility for all of your activity, transactions and usage of the Services provided in Grab App while being part of the Family Account.

2. Subject to Clause 7 of this Member Terms, you acknowledge that services accessible by Family Account’ members are limited to transport rides. For any such transport rides, the Shared Payment method established by the Family Account admin will be the default payment method. 

3. By joining the Family Account, you represent and warrant that 

a. you have attained the legal age of majority; or

b. you are between the ages of 13 and 17 (a “Teen Member”), and acknowledge the specific terms to Member as set forth hereof.

4. If you are a Teen Member, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions: 

a. your Family Account admin has legally bound the Teen Member to these terms and conditions and the Member Terms on your behalf;

b. Grab may contact your Family Account Admin regarding your use of the Services, including any reported issues and/or incidents in relation to your use of the Family Account;

c. Grab may contact you directly with or without the simultaneous presence of your Family Account admin; 

d. your Family Account admin will monitor all activity related to transport rides, including but not limited to order placement, location data, in-app messaging;  

e. your Family Account admin retains the unilateral right to revoke your access by removing you from the Family Account at any time. In the event your access is revoked, your Teen Member’s entire Grab account will be immediately and completely deactivated, including the forfeiture of all associated features (loyalty points, transaction history); 

f. The safety features, AudioProtect, will be automatically activated and active for all Family Account rides you take via the Family Account; and

g. during transit, all in-app chat messages between the Teen Member and the Driver-partners are accessible by the Family Account admin. 

5. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice apply to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual account. 

6. Subject to Clause 7 of this Member Terms, all members consent to the mutual visibility of their profiles within the Family Account.

7. Members of the Family Account may also use other services (including GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress), provided that:

a. These transactions cannot be settled via the Shared Payment source as set up in the Family Account;

b. such transactions are not be visible to other members in the Family Account (including Family Account admin); and 

c. Teen Members are strictly prohibited from purchasing goods or services which are restricted by applicable local regulations.

For Driver-Partners:

You acknowledge and agree that both the Family Account admin and the Members will have access to your profile (Name, Photo, Vehicle Plate Number, In-app chat messages and Live Location) to facilitate the fulfillment of Family Account Solutions.
