Important note on modified devices
We’ve noticed that there are Grab drivers using modified devices. These are phones which were rooted or jailbroken, or have Xposed.
For greater account security, you will soon be unable to login to your Grab driver account if you are using a modified device.
Why this restriction?
Modified devices are a risk to our system because they may:
Compromise your privacy for fraudulent attacks
Interfere with our functions via third-party software
Prevent fair and equal allocations of jobs
Check your phone
This concerns both your personal security and Grab’s integrity, so please check your phone. If you’re using a modified device, either restore it to its original settings, or use another unmodified device.

What to do if your device has been modified
Depending on how complicated your case may be, you can:
Refer to online tutorials on restoring your device settings
Get help at the store that sold you the device, or
Use another unmodified device
Take note! Unrooting deletes all data on the device, so make sure you back up your data before proceeding.
It is also done at your own risk, and Grab will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur.
