Grab promotes local tourism through public–private partnerships, exemplified by a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hue City. A variety of initiatives and features have been introduced to advance digital transformation for local people and partners, while attracting tourists with services like Grab Cyclo and Food Guide collection on GrabFood.

Grab has launched the “GrabScholar – Opening Future Pathways” program, awarding 300 study grants and six full scholarships to students, including children of Grab’s driver- and merchant-partners, with support from the GrabForGood Fund.

As of 2024, GrabFood merchant-partners’ average monthly revenues have tripled compared to 2018. Through the Grab platform, more partners, especially MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), are supported in digital transformation and sustainable growth in today’s technology-driven era.

Grab is deeply committed to enhancing the capabilities of its driver-partners. To date, over 200,000 Grab driver-partners have improved their skills via GrabAcademy training. Collaborating with banks and financial institutions using alternative data, Grab has expanded financial access, tripling the number of partners securing loans in 2023 compared to the service’s 2020 launch.

In supporting communities, Grab and Grab users helped build 8 bridges in remote areas, benefiting 7,000 residents and students. To accelerate digital inclusion, initiatives like GrabConnect has helped over 1,000 farmers gain digital skills, and the Summer Fruit Festival has enabled sales of 800+ tons of local produce via GrabMart.

Since 2017, the Ho Chi Minh City R&D center has been creating localized solutions tailored to address the unique needs of different markets across Southeast Asia while enhancing their user experiences.

Grab is actively focused on bridging the digital divide and promoting digital inclusion by designing a more accessible platform for everyone. Features include Grab for Family, Assistive Ride, and student-friendly options to address the unique needs of various age groups, including the elderly, pregnant passengers, and budget-constrained students.
