Grab Driver-Partners Volunteer to Offer Free Rides During the Royal Cremation Period From 25 – 29 October 2017
- More than 1,000 Grab driver-partners volunteer to provide free ride services for people wishing to pay their last respects to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej during the Royal Cremation period, from 25 to 29 October 2017
- Anyone who would like to use Grab driver-partner’s voluntary service can just hail for a ride when they see either the sunshade sticker or T-Shirt with the wording “Grab Partners Voluntarily Offer Free Rides”
Representatives from Grab driver-partners (GrabTaxi and GrabBike) have announced to voluntarily provide free ride services for people wishing to pay their last respects to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej during the Royal Cremation period, from 25 to 29 October 2017. The drop-off area will be around Sanam Luang ceremonial ground. In addition, Grab driver-partners in other provinces will also offer free ride services for members of the public who would like to reach other designated areas to pay respects. Anyone who would like to use Grab driver-partner’s voluntary service can just hail for a ride when they see either the sunshade sticker on GrabTaxi’s side windows or T-Shirts on riders for GrabBike, with the wording “Grab Partners Voluntarily Offer Free Rides”. Currently, there are over 1,000 Grab driver-partners volunteer the service.
