Grab, one of the most frequently used O2O mobile platforms in Southeast Asia and Thai Airways (THAI)’s frequent flyer program, Royal Orchid Plus today announced a partnership that provides travelers with an even more rewarding experience. Passengers travelling with these two leading transportation companies can now take advantage of the integration of their loyalty programs.

From April 3^rd, 2018 onwards, Grab passengers will get more value from GrabRewards point as they will be able to redeem it for Royal Orchid Plus Mile (ROP) at a cost as least as only 16 Baht per mile. The earning is simplest when the passengers opt to pay with GrabPay, which will enable them to redeem a Royal Orchid Plus Mile with GrabRewards points equivalent to 16 Baht spending on a GrabCar Plus ride or 20 Baht spending on a JustGrab ride. The more frequently consumers ride with Grab, the more miles they receive. THAI ROP members can also convert their miles to Grab rides with only 2,500 ROP Miles spending for a promo code of 300 Baht ride.

Additionally, Grab has teamed up with various travel segment credit cards to allow consumers to earn even more miles. SCB My Travel, KTC and UOB Privimiles cardholders can now link their cards to GrabPay and enjoy 2 ways of earning ROP mile through both GrabRewards and their credit card loyalty program when travelling with Grab. The cardholders who are new registrants to GrabPay will also be entitled to get a special 1,800 GrabRewards points as well as on-top deals by card providers for every spending with Grab.

To celebrate their partnership, Grab and Royal Orchid Plus have launched a contest that will see the lucky passenger win 2 Economy Class tickets to Vienna. To join the contest, all you need to do is enter the code “IFLYTHAI” in the promo field on the Grab app booking screen for every ride taken between April 1st to May 31st, 2018 and pay via GrabPay. Consumers who book the most number of rides with Grab during this period will win the tickets.
