GrabFood supports Bangkok’s annual Vegetarian Festival, encouraging Grab users to join in the celebration with free delivery on vegetarian food orders throughout the festival

Bangkok, 16 October 2018– In support of Bangkok’s annual Vegetarian Festival, GrabFood, Grab’s on-demand food delivery service, has brought together popular restaurants from all over Bangkok to prepare vegetarian dishes at Grab’s booth in Yaowarat (Chinatown). Grab also further supports the festivities by offering free delivery on all vegetarian food orders on Grabfood throughout the festival period (9 – 17 October).
Tarin Thaniyavarn, Country Head of Grab Thailand and Mr. Marco Pohl, Head of GrabFood Thailand, were present at the launch of the traditional Vegetarian Festival opening at Yaowarat road. As part of the festivities, they handed a gift basket to Bangkok Governor Pol. Gen Asawin Kwanmueng and also gave a token to the Bodhisattva Guanyin at GrabFood’s booth. Gathered at the booth were popular restaurants from all over Bangkok who will cook and serve hot Vegetarian meals throughout the festival. In addition, visitors are invited to enjoy plenty of other activities and premium giveaways available at the booth.
The Vegetarian Festival runs from 9 – 17 October 2018. During this period, Grab users can order from a selection of vegetarian menus from popular restaurants curated on the Grab application and enjoy ‘FREE Delivery’.
