Just like the old newspaper lorries that used to come around your neighbourhood, now we want to collect your used plastic containers instead. On our mission to achieve zero packaging waste by 2040, we’re partnering with KLEAN to develop a reverse vending machine (RVM) that turns plastic food packaging into Grab vouchers. From 1st November onwards, head to the nearest RVM near you to recycle and redeem!
So when you find yourself with a full cabinet of plastic containers after the 10th GrabFood order of the week, you know what to do.
Ready to recycle ?
Here's how it works:
At the RVM, press ‘Recycle now!’ on the RVM screen.
Deposit plastic containers, bottles, and aluminium cans into the RVM.
Press ‘Finish’ on the RVM screen.
Scan to claim using the KLEAN app to claim your Klean Points for Grab vouchers.
