How it works

Plan subscription is renewed quarterly, updated according to your tier.

Coverage Details

SCENARIO 1

Quarter 1 (January – March)
Ali claimed RM2,000 (out of RM10,000 of his annual overall limit) from his plan for a surgery.

Quarter 2 (April – June)
Ali was inactive and is no longer an Ultimate tier Grab partner. He is no longer covered under the GHS plan.

Quarter 3 (July – September)
Ali became an Ultimate tier Grab partner again, and is re-enrolled for GHS.

He is subject to a 30-day waiting period.

He can claim from the remaining RM8,000 from his annual overall limit for medical conditions (if he maintains in Ultimate tier).

Quarter 4 (October – December)
Ali maintained his status as an Ultimate tier Grab partner. He can continue to claim from his annual overall limit for medical situations (based on coverage details) until the end of the policy year.

SCENARIO 2

Quarter 1 (January – March)
Maria claimed RM10,000 (full amount of the annual overall limit) from her plan for a surgery.

Quarter 2 (April – June)
Maria was inactive and is no longer an Ultimate tier Grab partner.

She is no longer covered under the GHS plan.

Quarter 3 (July – September)
Maria became an Ultimate tier Grab partner again, and is re-enrolled for GHS.

She is subject to a 30-day waiting period.

However, as the overall annual limit has been used up, she will not be able to make any claim for the remaining months of the policy year.

Quarter 4 (October – December)
Maria maintained her status as an Ultimate tier Grab partner. However, as Maria’s overall annual limit has been used up, she will not be able make any claim for the remaining months of the year (until the end of the policy year).

  • How will I know if I am covered by Group Hospitalisation & Surgical (GHS)?

    Eligible Ultimate tier Grab partners will be notified via an in-app message on the Grab Driver app with a link to the enrolment form, and another message if your enrolment is successful. An activation email with the relevant login details will then be sent to you separately from the insurance provider.

  • How do I make a claim?
    1. Download and complete the applicable claim form from the MCIS webpage
    2. Download and complete the E-Payment Application Form 
    3. Submit both soft and hard copies of the completed forms and required supporting documents within 30 days after the accident / treatment via email and post to MCIS Life (refer to documents checklist below)

    For claims RM1,000 and below:

    Submit your documents via the MyMed application. 

    1. Login to your MyMed application
    2. Tap on the ‘Utilisation’ tile
    3. Tap on the ‘Claim Submission’ tile
    4. Select the respective category you are submitting the claims for and fill in the information required.

    For claims above RM1,000:

    Submit your documents to MCIS Life directly via one of the following methods:

    2. Hard copy submission: Post to:

  • What if I am no longer in Ultimate tier in the middle of a quarter year?

    You will still be able to utilise the coverage policy until the end of the quarter. You must then re-qualify as Ultimate tier again in the following quarter to continue receiving the free coverage, as the plan is automatically renewed by quarter (Jan, April, July, Oct).

    If you do not qualify as an Ultimate tier partner in the next quarter, you will receive an inbox message in your Driver App to notify you of your non-eligibility to enjoy the free coverage.

  • I did not receive an activation email from MiCare MyMed.

    Kindly write in to Grab Support and we will assist you to check.

  • I cannot login to the MiCare MyMed app with the credentials provided in the email.

    Kindly call the MiCare helpline at 1800-88-7940 for assistance.

  • Valid from 15 Jan 2022 – 28 Feb 2022
  • Minimum spend: RM88
  • Limited to 62,500 redemptions 
  • TWO(2) redemptions per user throughout the campaign

1. Campaign period is from 15 January 2022 (12:00am) – 28 February 2022 (11.59pm).
2. GrabPay users are eligible for a “RM8 rebate” in your “My Rewards” when you spend a minimum of RM88 on a single receipt via GrabPay Wallet.
3. The offer of “RM8 rebate” is limited to a total of 62,500 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
4. Offer is valid for TWO (2) in-store redemptions with a cap of ONE(1) redemption per user per day throughout the campaign. Shared across AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness throughout the campaign period. 
5. The “RM8 rebate” will be awarded instantly with a minimum transaction of RM88 with GrabPay at all outlets of AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness; The rebate can be found under “My Rewards”. Rebate must be redeemed by clicking “use now” under “My Rewards” 30 days from the date of issuance.
6. The campaign will cease once all redemptions have been fully awarded or at the expiration of the campaign period, whichever is earlier.
7. Offer is based on a first come first served and while stocks last basis only.
8. Grab and AEON Group shall not be under any obligation to inform users, on any communication channels once the offer has been fully redeemed.
9. Offer is only available for AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness physical stores purchases at cashier counter only via GrabPay Wallet; offer is not applicable for online or GrabMart purchases.
10. Offer is not exchangeable for cash or replacements.
11. Offer is not valid with any other voucher, discount or promotion.
12. Grab and AEON Group reserve the right to alter, extend or terminate the promotion, or amend the terms and conditions at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the promotion, the decision of Grab and AEON Group shall be final.
13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with promotion shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.
