Malaysia, 20 March 2017 – Mark your calendars: Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading technology company, is partnering with Tinder, the world’s leading social app for meeting new people, to let you spend a day with your favorite internet personalities.

Book a ride on 24 March via the Grab x Tinder “Meet your Match” icon within the Grab app, and you may be in for a pleasant surprise, as you may end up sharing a free ride with one of Tinder’s Top 10 Personalities, such as JinnyBoy, Jazel Lim, Dennis Yin and Sarah Lian.

All you need to do is to watch out for content between now and 24 March on Grab and Tinder’s social platforms to find out more about these personalities, because you might just be sharing a ride with them!

Here’s how it works – on 24th March, the “Meet your Match” activation will have Tinder’s Top 10 Personalities roving in a GrabCar vehicle each and picking up passengers beginning from 9am to 5pm. You can take this opportunity to get to know these celebrities while riding to your destination of choice.

Each personality will select a passenger he or she gets along with; Tinder and Grab will then arrange a day-out for them to do an activity together – from dining in the coolest café in the city to bungee jumping off a cliff – it all depends on the interests of the personality and passenger!

The rides will be filmed, and the most interesting and fun moments will be captured on video and shared on the Grab Facebook page from 5 April.

Tinder’s first partnership in Southeast Asia puts the spotlight on Grab’s ride services and strong reputation for delivering safe rides, so everyone can enjoy a safe online and offline environment for making new connections with people in the same city.
