There are different types of services on Grab to cater to every passengers’ needs. Each service has its own set of fares as well as requirements to be on that service type; such as the car model, driver’s performance, etc.

*If your car model is NOT listed in this Rejected Cars List, it means it is currently accepted in Grab.
**In compliance with Malaysia’s e-hailing regulations, only vehicles manufactured less than 15 years will be accepted. However, kindly be informed that vehicles aged 14 years and above will not be able to renew the road tax beyond 15 years.
For example: If your vehicle is 14 years and 5 months when your road tax expires, you can only renew it to 15 years old.
The addition or removal of a car model is subjected to Grab’s discretion. All decisions made by Grab are final and binding.

JustGrab is a fixed-fare on-demand service, which brings together both taxis and cars across Malaysia. This means that a passenger who books a JustGrab will be assigned the nearest vehicle, regardless of whether it is a taxi or a car.
JustGrab is the default service type that all driver-partners in Klang Valley will have when they join the Grab platform.
Eligibility Criteria for JustGrab (GrabCar)
Vehicle Requirements
- Vehicles manufactured in 2010 and newer
- All vehicle models are accepted for JustGrab unless it is listed in the Rejected Car List above
- Ownership status must be a Malaysian
- Must be a privately owned vehicle
- Pick up truck (Only accepted in East Malaysia)
Driver Requirements
- Driver Rating : > 4.5 stars
- Cancellation Rate: Minimum
- No excessive cancellations/ disciplinary issues
- For taxis: must have a valid PSV licence
GrabCar (6-seater) is an on-demand service that consist of 7-seater cars (including the driver), which provide groups of more than 4 passengers a safer and more convenient way to travel.
Eligibility Criteria for GrabCar (6-seater)
Vehicle Requirements
- Manufactured in 2010 and newer
- 6 passenger seats with 6 seat belts
- Ownership status must be a Malaysian
- Must be a privately owned vehicle
- No pickup truck/van
Important: Only driver-partners who meet the vehicle requirements will be added as a GrabCar 6-seater. Service type updates will be performed every Friday. Driver-partners do not need to contact the Help Centre. All decisions made by Grab are final.

GrabCar Plus is a service that offers passengers a comfortable sedan with top-rated driver-partners.
Eligibility Criteria for GrabCar Plus
Vehicle Requirements
- Manufactured in 2014 and newer
- Minimum boot space of 330 litres
- Ownership status must be a Malaysian
- Must be a privately owned vehicle
- No pickup truck/ van
Driver Requirements
- Maintain a star rating of 4.85 and above
- No excessive cancellations/ disciplinary issues
- Abide to GrabCar Plus Service Level Agreement, click here to view.
Important:
- Only driver-partners who meet the requirements above will have GrabCar Plus added to their accounts. Service type updates will be performed every Friday. Driver-partners do not need to contact the Help Centre.
- The GrabCar Plus service type may be removed if driver-partners fail to meet the GrabCar Plus service requirements and driver rating criteria. Reinstatement of the service type will only be performed if all requirements are met again. No appeal will be entertained.

- Ownership status must be a Malaysian
- Must be a privately owned vehicle
Driver Requirement
- Maintain a star rating of 4.85 and above
- Must complete 30 rides on JustGrab/GrabCar Plus/6-Seater first in order to be activated
- Currently available in Klang Valley only
Important:
- Only driver-partners who meet the requirements above will have GrabCar Premium added to their accounts. Service type updates will be performed every Friday. Driver-partners do not need to contact the Help Centre.
- The GrabCar Premium service type may be removed if driver-partners fail to meet the GrabCar Premium service requirements and driver rating criteria. Reinstatement of the service type will only be performed if all requirements are met again. No appeal will be entertained.

GrabCar Exec is a service for passengers who want a luxurious experience – luxury cars and specially trained driver-partners who will provide top notch service to passengers.
Eligibility Criteria for GrabCar Exec
Vehicle Requirements
- Car manufactured in year 2014 and newer
- Have at least 4 doors and sit a minimum of 4 passengers
- Functional seat belts for all seats
- No damages/scratches interior and exterior of the car
- All cars are subjected to physical inspection by Grab
- Ownership status must be a Malaysian
- Must be a privately owned vehicle
Driver Requirement
- Maintain a star rating of 4.90 and above
- Must complete 20 rides on JustGrab/GrabCar Plus/6 Seater first in order to be activated
- Currently available in Klang Valley only
Important:
- Only driver-partners who meet the requirements above will have GrabCar Premium added to their accounts. Service type updates will be performed every Friday. Driver-partners do not need to contact the Help Centre.
