Those in the know are already clued in that Sri Petaling’s streets are bursting with great restaurants, from great local spots to regional delicacies. The Sri Petaling food scene is a mini melting pot of cuisines and dining styles, and every Sri Petaling restaurant is different. You can get Hong Kong-style wantan noodles or homey mee suah; grill up your own Korean BBQ meats or sit back and let a rotisserie do it for you. These spots do some of the best food in Sri Petaling, whether you’re up for a full meal or a quick snack.
The Link Cafe (vegetarian/vegan)
The Link Cafe does vegetarian and vegan food the modern way, without trying to disguise any of its ingredients. No MSG or processed mock meat here — the menu puts the veg front and centre in pastas, poke bowls and pizzas — check out the Tomyam version below. But the real star of the show is the range of imaginative burgers — there’s a loaded beancurd version, or try the Crispy Eggplant Burger for a real texture bomb. We’re also into the spicy Sambal Tempe Burger, with a side of fried king oyster mushrooms. Swap out your standard fries for a tower of super crispy fried burdock strips.

You can get the same dish but in rice form, or the even more pared back spring onion noodles. There’s also a small range of sides (try the sambal fish balls) and a single dessert: gula melaka beancurd.
