Blue New Registration Identity Card
Malaysian Competent Driving License
Personal bank account created under New Registration Identity Card

What vehicle will I drive?
Perodua Bezza 1.3 (A)
Do I need to drive a minimum number of rides as a Grab driver-partner?
Yes, you’ll need to drive a minimum of 50 rides a week.
Is there a sign-up fee?
You will need to pay an Admin Fee of RM150 to process your application (Background Check & Credit Check), but only RM50 will be collected upfront. Remainder of admin fee to be paid upon successful application.
Who is eligible to join the Grab Rental Programme?
Malaysian citizens over 21 years of age with a Competent Driving License. Probationary Driving License (P License) holders are not accepted.
What are the application approval criteria?
Application approval is subject to successful background and credit checks.
How long is the rental contract period?
The minimum rental contract period is 3 months.
What is the mode of payment for the car rental?
Car rental will be auto deducted from Grab credit wallet on a daily basis.
What happens if I opt out/get banned before the rental period ends?
In case of early contract termination, the deposit (RM350) will be forfeited. Cost of major car physical defects (exterior/interior), summons and outstanding rental will be charged accordingly.
Is there any special bonus if I refer somebody to Rentals?
Yes, there is a RM100 referral bonus if you refer a new driver-partner to the Grab Rental Programme. Referral bonus will be paid within 14 working days upon collecting the rental car.
