Applicable for GrabCar, GrabFood, GrabMart & GrabExpress.

How it works
What to do in the event of an accident while you are on the job:
1) Go to the nearest hospital
Injured driver or delivery-partner/passengers are advised to go to the nearest healthcare centre.
2) Report the accident to the Grab Support team and the police
The driver or delivery-partner/passenger/witness is required to make a report to the authorities. You will be given detailed instructions from the Grab Support team on how to make a claim.
3) Collect documents and claim reports
Injured driver or delivery-partner(s)/passenger(s) need to provide the necessary documents to receive compensation. All claim reports must be submitted within the agreed period, no later than 30 days after the accident occurred.
4) Compensation
Injured driver or delivery-partner(s)/passenger(s) will receive compensation after claim approval.

- Am I still covered if I’m no longer a Grab driver or delivery-partner?No, these insurance benefits are exclusively for Grab driver and delivery-partners only.
- In the event of an accident, how do I report it?Please report the accident to our customer service via the Help Centre (Accident and Safety > I was involved in an accident). You should also lodge a police report if anyone is injured from the accident. Our customer service team is available 24/7 to assist you. You’ll also be required to answer several questions (Who, What, When, Where, Why & How) to ascertain the details of the accident.
- How do I file a claim?
- Make a police report within 24 hours of the accident.
- Make a report to Grab Support; Grab will provide guidance on claims process.
- Send completed claim form via e-mail to mypaclaims@aig.com
- Monitor responses from AIG.
- When and how will I receive my claim payment?Once your claim has been verified and approved, the payment will be processed within the next 3 to 7 working days. You may choose to receive your payment through internet banking.
- Can I claim for medical treatment from a Chinese medical practitioner or chiropractor instead of a general practitioner?No, you can only claim for medical treatments received from a regulatory registered doctor.
