The differences between a basic and premium GrabPay Wallet:
- Basic GrabPay Wallet can hold a maximum balance of RM500; Premium GrabPay Wallet can hold a maximum balance of RM1,500. More info

As part of Bank Negara Malaysia’s regulation, all e-wallet users are required to complete an identity verification process by submitting a live selfie and personal details.
This step helps us prevent fraudulent activities and verify the rightful owner of each GrabPay Wallet.
The GrabPay Wallet verification process takes 2-3 working days. Upon approval, you will be notified of your application status via the Grab app.

Yes, each eligible user is limited to 3x RM5 worth of Grab vouchers throughout the campaign period. The campaign will end once the maximum redemption of 30,000 successful premium GrabPay Wallet approval is reached.
All applicants will be notified via the Grab app. Grab vouchers awarded can be viewed under “My Rewards” on the Grab app.
As long as your application to upgrade to premium GrabPay Wallet happens within the campaign period, you will be entitled to the bonus GrabRewards Points provided that your application is approved.
Top 3 spenders with the highest count of GrabPay Wallet transaction (minimum spend of RM5 per transaction required) will win the prize. GrabPay Wallet transactions that qualified including: In-store payment & Online store payment. Other transactions that are not mentioned do not count towards the top spender contest of this campaign.
Terms & Conditions
- Campaign is only valid from 18 Feb 2022 (12:00am) to 15 Apr 2022 (11:59pm)
- Campaign is only eligible for selected users who received the promotional message on their Grab app.
- Campaign is only valid in Malaysia and for Malaysians only.
- Depending on eligibility, eligible users must either verify or complete the upgrade to a premium GrabPay Wallet within the campaign period to be entitled for the prize of 3x RM5 worth of Grab vouchers.
- Prizes are limited to a maximum of 30,000 redemptions; and limited to ONE (1) redemption per Grab user.
- Campaign will end at the end of the campaign period, or when the available prizes have been fully awarded, whichever earlier. Prizes are awarded on a first come first served basis and while stocks last only.
- Grab does not have any obligation to inform the user in the event prizes has reached the maximum redemption throughout the campaign period during or before the end of the campaign period.
- All submissions to verify or upgrade to a premium GrabPay Wallet are subject to approval. Prizes will be awarded to all winners within 5 working days upon approval. Grab vouchers awarded can be viewed under “My Rewards” on the Grab app.
- Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or replacements.
- Any user who terminates their GrabPay Wallet during the campaign period shall be automatically disqualified from this campaign & shall not be entitled to the prizes.
- Grab reserves the right to alter, extend or terminate the promotion, or amend the terms and conditions at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the promotion, the decision of Grab shall be final.
- Grab reserves the right to investigate winners’ referrals for fraud / gaming and Grab vouchers earned will be forfeited or revoked if the winner is found to violate the Terms & Conditions.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with promotion shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.
- By participating in this campaign, the participant consents to Grab announcing the name of the winners and/or releasing a photograph of the winner as the prize-winner in our winner’s announcement.
- By taking part in this contest, you have indicated that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Winners will be determined by the most transaction via GrabPay Wallet (offline and online, with minimum spend of RM5 per transaction) between campaign period of 16 Feb – 15 Apr 2022.
- GrabPay Wallet transactions, or part thereof, that qualify for the top spender contest of this campaign include:
- In-store payment
- Online payment
- Other transactions that are not listed above do not count towards the top spender contest of this campaign.
- No cash alternative is available for any prize.
- The prize may be forfeited if we fail to reach the winners by 29 April 2022.
- Winners of this contest will be contacted via email registered with your Grab account, social media or any other method of communications which Grab deems appropriate by 11 May 2022 to arrange for collection of prize.
- The prize may be forfeited to the next winner if the participant is unable to comply with the above conditions.
- Each participant can only win 1 of the contest prize during the campaign.
- Participant acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by the terms and conditions below and decisions of the Organiser without limitation or qualification. You further agree that all decisions of the Organiser shall be final and conclusive.
