We are proud to announce the launch of GrabChat, the new instant messaging feature that’s integrated within your Grab app! GrabChat allows both drivers and passengers to communicate with each other via instant messages seamlessly. Update your app to the latest version and use GrabChat right away.

Note:

1. GrabChat option will only be shown if BOTH passenger and driver have the Grab App versions that support GrabChat. If not, the normal SMS icon will appear.
2. This current version does not support customization of individual messages, i.e. no own “favorite” message.
3. All Chat history and contact details are unavailable for both Passenger and Driver once the ride is over.

Now you can always chat safely and conveniently with GrabChat!
